Crazy and Cute Celebrity Christmas Traditions

Christmas Bauble Or Ball Background
As Christmas gets closer so does the festive party season! If you want to organise the best end of year party for your work, friends or club but aren’t sure where to start, don’t worry! We’ve created a handy checklist to keep you on track and ensure this year’s party is the best yet!

Invitations
First things first – making sure your guests know there’s a party. Once you’ve figured out who you want to invite and when you’ll be hosting your event you can send out invites. If you know where the party will be you can send out invitations with all the information on them. If you’re still unsure about the venue, send out a save-the-date invitation. Christmas is the busiest time of year, so the earlier people know about your party the better.

Keep your invitations seasonally themed to create excitement. You can use Christmas cards or spice up plain paper invitations with glitter and ribbon. For extra special invitations try using our photo snow domes – you can choose your own photo and message, and it doubles as a Christmas gift your friends can keep for years to come.

Decorating the Venue
Once you’ve decided on your venue it’s time to decorate! No matter if your venue is big or small there are plenty of ways to make it feel festive. If you’re having a sit down dinner you can decorate your tables by using wreaths and tabletop trees as centerpieces, wind tinsel around the tops of chairs, and use personalized bon-bons as place markers.

Floating displays are a lovely way to take your decorating to a whole new level and create talking points for your guests. You can also bring a touch of white Christmas to your party by hanging snowflakes in your windows. Snowflakes can be made easily from paper and decorated with blue, white and silver glitter to add some extra sparkle.

Food
Don’t leave your menu until the last minute. Once you know how many people will be coming to your party you can decide what kind of food you’ll serve. For small parties a sit down meal can work well, but if you’re inviting a big group nibbles and finger food may work better.

Remember that whatever you’re serving, preparing food will take some time. Prepare your menu in advance so you have the time to buy and cook your food in advance. That way you won’t be stuck in the kitchen instead of spending your party socializing with your guests.

Entertainment
No party is complete without entertainment! Create a Christmas mood with some festive music. Whether you want traditional favourites or something a bit more modern we have a great range of Christmas CDs to help get the party started.

Get guests in the mood by setting up some Christmas-themed games for them to play. Invite guests to wear their worst Christmas sweater, with a prize for best dressed. Do a Christmas themed pass-the-parcel, or reverse the idea and have a gift wrapping race!
