You are important to us and we will do all that we can to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. There may be times when you need to return an item purchased from us. Our Returns Policy is designed to guarantee your satisfaction and to help you with your return. This doesn’t affect your rights under Consumer Guarantees of the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), regulations or otherwise as required by law.
Broken, Faulty or not as shown on Website
We pack all our decorations with care and love but sometimes that is not enough. If any part of your order arrives broken, damaged or in some way faulty, please complete the form at www.thechristmascart.com.au/help including taking a photo/s of the broken or damaged item/s and uploading it to the form. We will be in touch as soon as possible (normally within 1-2 business days) and resend new items at no charge, or arrange a refund.
We offer a 7 day (from the tracked date of receiving your order) refund policy if the product you have received is not as shown or described on the website. If you receive your order and the products are incorrect, or not as described on the website, please complete the form at www.thechristmascart.com.au/help (within 7 days from the tracked date of receiving your order) and we will be in touch to look at how to best resolve the issue.
Please note, prior authorisation must be obtained before returning any goods. Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused and undamaged. Goods must be returned to our warehouse within 7 days of return approval being granted.
Additionally orders that are lost in transit due to incorrect or insufficient postal address details, will not be refunded or re-done at no charge. It is your responsibility to ensure all shipping details are correct.
Personalised Item Returns
Please take care when ordering Personalised items. Personalised items that are ordered incorrectly will not be refunded. Please check spelling carefully as we write exactly what you have provided. We do not take responsibility for your omissions or errors. Spelling and punctuation checks are your responsibility. If however you do notice an error, please contact us immediately, if the order has yet to be processed we will make any necessary changes.
If you change your mind prior to any personalisation having been completed, please contact us, and if possible we will cancel your order. If we have already personalised your items, we will not be able to refund your order.
Non Personalised Items Change of Mind Returns
We want you to love the items you purchase. If you change your mind on a purchase, we will refund your original method of payment provided that:-

Goods must be returned to our warehouse within 7 days of return approval being granted. Please ensure you use a shipping service that can be tracked.
You include the original or copy of your invoice when you return the item
Your item is in it’s original saleable condition, in original packaging, unused and undamaged
Original postage costs will not be reimbursed for Change of Mind Returns, nor will return postage costs. If your original order qualified for free shipping but as a result of returning does not now qualify, you will also need to pay for shipping of the original order, prior to a refund being issued.
