Here are some fun Christmas facts to keep the kids amused..

Did you know?

•  Christmas trees used to be decorated with foods such as nuts, dates and apples.
•  If you receive all of the gifts from the song ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ you would receive 364 presents!
•  Santa Claus has eight reindeers, their names are: Comet, Cupid, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Donder and Blitzen.
•  Sometimes Donder is called Donner.
•  Santa has two addresses – one in Edinburgh, Scotland, and one in the North Pole. Letters addressed to ‘Toyland’ or ‘Snowland’ go to his Edinburgh address, while the letters addressed to ‘The North Pole’ go his house on the North Pole (it’s a real place!).
•  Tinsel used to be made of real silver and was invented in Germany in 1610.
