Decorating with Christmas Baubles

Personalised Christmas bauble place settingBaubles are a classic Christmas decoration, adorning trees across the world. But there are so many other ways you can use baubles to decorate your home this festive season. If you’ve ever found yourself with extra baubles after you’ve finished creating the perfect Christmas tree, or if you’re keen to try a new decorating idea this year, we’ve got some creative ways to use baubles around your home.

We’re used to hanging baubles from tree branches, but have you ever considered hanging them from your roof? You can create beautiful hanging displays simply by threading string or Christmas ribbon through a handful of baubles and tying the other end to a light fixture. Use different lengths of ribbon to create interest and so you can see each individual bauble. These hanging displays are perfect decorations for the dining room, where they can hang above the table. They can also be tied to curtain rods and be displayed in the window.

If you’re hosting Christmas dinner, make it extra special by laying everyone’s place at the table with a personalised bauble! Not only will the baubles look good, they can also double as a sweet gift for all your guests to take home. You can also use personalised baubles in lieu of a card on your Christmas presents. Simply tie a bauble onto each present with ribbon after you’ve wrapped it.

A very simple way to decorate your home this Christmas is to fill a vase or large serving bowl with baubles. This is a great one for kids, as it’s so easy. Give them creative control of the project by letting them choose the colour scheme and where in the house they think it will look the best.

If you have a wreath that could use some sprucing up, why not add a few baubles to it? Attach the baubles to your wreath using thin, pliable wire, securing them firmly. Place your new wreath on our front door to welcome guests.
