It’s no secret to most that I absolutely love decorating for Christmas. As our family has expanded over the past few years, getting ready for Christmas and decorating my grandchildren’s rooms in our home, is certainly an extra special task.
In this Decorate with Me: Peppermint Candy Christmas Grandkids Bedroom decorating video I share with you how I decorated 2 x kids rooms with plenty of bright, fun colours and lots of sweet treat inspired decorations like candy canes, ice creams, lollipops and of course, gingerbreads!
I’ll take you step by step through how I created a gorgeously sweet pretty-in-pink garland for Charlotte and Isabelle’s room and a cute gingerbread inspired tree in Oliver’s room. As well as how I decorated the rest of the space in both rooms.
There’s lots of fun with plenty of sprays, picks and flowers as well as gorgeous ribbon, baubles and finials. Oversized wall hangings, buntings and snowflakes extend the festive feel to the walls and ornaments adorn every little nook.
One of the most important things for me when decorating the kids rooms, is that I make sure to always have a few things down low that they can touch and play with so that they can really enjoy the fun of Christmas too. I want them to be able to create so many magical and fun memories as we celebrate the Christmas season together.
