With Christmas only 50 days away its time to get cracking on Christmas shopping! With so much going on in the lead up to Christmas, it helps to be as organised as possible, so we’ve put together a few Christmas shopping tips and tricks for you!
If you’re not sure what to get your friends and family – making a list of everyone you are buying for. Write down the age, gender, and interests of each person, and make note of your budget as well to keep yourself on track. This will help you find gifts that are well suited and personal for each person. You can add to the list anytime. Take it with you when you’re out in case anything catches you eye.
Once you’ve decided on presents and started buying, keeping your purchases a secret can get a bit tricky. Most of us have a few tried and true hiding places up our sleeves, but it never hurts to have a few more ready to go. Think about the places in your home that aren’t usually used around Christmas. You can store presents with your winter blankets, or in a spare room. If you’re giving somebody money or a gift card, you can give it to them inside a book or magazine on something they’re interested in for inspiration.
If finding hiding places is tricky lay-by are a great option. Not only will it help with keeping you on budget, but it means you don’t have to worry about storing the presents yourself. Some shops will even gift wrap your Lay-by for you, meaning a bit less hard work for you!
