Baby’s First Christmas

We all have cherished Christmas memories from throughout our lives. But there’s something extra special for the whole family about a baby’s very first Christmas.

Baby’s first Christmas is an ideal time to create some family Christmas traditions that your bub can grow up with. Your traditions can be more customary or you can choose more modern things to celebrate each festive season – whatever feels right for you.

Baby's First Christmas - Image 2While your baby probably won’t remember his or her first Christmas, you can create tangible memories to keep for years to come with personalised Christmas decorations. Give your little one a special Christmas stocking or a bauble with their name and the year on it. As your child grows up they can take pride in putting up these decorations year after year.

Put your baby in some seasonal pyjamas for Christmas Eve. Not only will he or she look incredibly cute in Christmas morning photos, you can also turn this into an ongoing present. Each Christmas you can give your kids a special night-before gift of new pyjamas to make the wait for Santa a little more stylish and comfortable!

Of course, taking baby for his or her first Santa photo is a must! You might not get the best photo this year, but no matter what, you’ll love showing the resulting picture to friends and family throughout the holiday season.

Photos are a perfect way to capture baby’s first Christmas, but don’t keep them all to yourself. Share this special time with your loved ones by taking a family photo, or a solo shot of your bub, and getting it printed onto a Christmas card. This way even those who are far away get to share in your happiness.
