Our Favourite Christmas Carols

Christmas Carols with lit red candle and small christmas shoes

People celebrating the magic of Christmas have sung Carols for centuries. As we get closer to the big day, you’re sure to hear Christmas music almost everywhere you go. Naturally, we love carols. So, to help you get into the spirit of Christmas, we wanted to share our favourite Christmas carols with you!

Silent Night
This classic carol has an interesting history, and was apparently sung between the trenches in the famous Christmas truce of 1914, during World War 1.

Oh! Holy Night
A favourite year in, year out, this is one of the most-sung Christmas carols. It has been performed by classical singers, pop stars and everyone in between.

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
Another upbeat song, this carol tells the story of the birth of baby Jesus and expresses the joy and hope that Christmas symbolizes for many people all over the world.

White Christmas
One of the most famous non-traditional Christmas carols, this song originally featured in the film Holiday Inn, starring Bing Crosby, who also sang the song for the movie.

Winter Wonderland
We might not have a white Christmas in Australia, but that doesn’t mean we can’t love this song and its magical fantasy of snowmen being brought to life.

Let It Snow
Another song about white Christmases! The weather outside probably wont be frightful where you are, but this song is still a lot of fun!

Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire
This Christmas carol makes us want to spend time sitting around the Christmas tree with friends and family – and if that’s not the kind of feeling you want from a Christmas song, we don’t know what is!
