Creative Decorating with Craft Baubles

Take the time this Christmas to unlock your creative spirit and make some simple, often meaningful, and always beautiful Christmas tree decorations. We’ll show you some great ways that you can do this with our range of Christmas craft baubles.

Available in a variety of shapes including a traditional bauble, an elegant teardrop and a simple disc, our craft baubles provide endless opportunities for creating truly unique decorations.

These simple shapes can be embellished in so many different ways and for many different reasons.

Making and saving memories

Craft baubles provide a beautiful way to capture memories and create decorations have special meaning to you.

Create a wonderful memory keeper by putting things inside each bauble that captures and reminds you of a special person or memory. You might use flowers from a special bouquet, a piece of lace or ribbon from a dress or a treasured piece of clothing or a collection of sand and shells from a special holiday.

You could make a mini time capsule within your craft ornament by adding a photo or strips of paper with dates, details and special messages, verses or quotes.

Style it up

If you’re having trouble finding the exact colour or style of bauble that you are looking for to compliment your Christmas décor, why not customise your own tree decorations to suit? Paint and decorate our craft baubles, teardrops or discs in any way, colour or style that you like for a perfect to coordinated finish.

It can be as simple as putting paint inside the tree decorations and swirling the paint around to create a beautiful swirl effect. If you’re feeling particularly creative, you might even like to try a marbling effect with multiple colours.

Another option, is of course to paint them on the outside and there are a number of ways that you can go about this too. Have some fun with good old paintbrushes and make different finishes and strokes with different brush types and sizes and different types of paint too. Our particular favourite for painting the outside of a tree decoration is the dipping technique.

If you fancy adding a little extra sparkle, and let’s face it who doesn’t, why not paint on some PVA or Modge Podge and dip or sprinkle on some glitter.

We’ve covered precious memories and painting inside and out but decorating with craft baubles definitely doesn’t end there.

Any other craft supplies or accessories that you can think of are more than perfect for your unique Christmas tree decorations. Sequins scatter, pom poms, ribbons, beads, pearls, stickers, and the list goes on.
