- Coastal Christmas Tree. Think outside the box when decorating your tree this year. Use a thick fabric garland in silver, light gold or beige to divide your tree into several sections so you can evenly distribute your baubles and other decorations. Choose decorations that are made of wood and glass, or in light, beachy colours like light blue, silver, white and light gold. Add a personal touch by giving each of your family members their own, personalised glass bauble as an early Christmas gift.
- Driftwood Decorating. Driftwood is a classic coastal decoration, so it makes sense to use it in your home this Christmas season! Create beautiful beachy centerpieces for your dining and coffee tables by arranging bunches of tall twigs in white or glass vases. Wind copper seed lights around the wood, and hang a few clear glass baubles and delicate ornaments around the outside.
- Laying the Table. Leave your tablecloth aside and use white table runners laid across the table instead. Find woven placemats in natural or light blue for your place settings, and place a bunch of glitter coral spray on each person’s dinner plate to add a bit of bling.
