We have been longing to release a collection that reflects upon and celebrates the uniquely stunning flora and cute furry friends of the Australian bush. Our Bush Christmas collection was created with this desire in mind, inspired by the beautiful designs of Australian textile designer Jocelyn Proust.
Even though the Bush Christmas collection is rustic and relaxed, the overall impact is quite sophisticated and dramatic. We are proud to nod to the beautiful nature of Australia by creating this Bush Christmas collection and invite you to embrace it into your home, no matter where in the world you reside.
Native Flora
The use of native florals in traditional Christmas colours of rich burgundies, vibrant reds and green mixed with soft pinks and pops of yellow might on first account seem like an unlikely combination, however the variety of textures, sizes and shapes look as natural on a Christmas tree as they do in the bush.
When combined with our unique Australian animals all dressed up for Christmas, this collection is an Aussie festive delight.

An Australian Bush Christmas Tree
The Bush Christmas tree illuminates the rich and rustic feel, with the help of a colour palette of reds, greens, and golds, combined with traditional Australian florals and animals. We started the Christmas tree off by creating a stunning tree topper which combines a rustic metal star surrounded by a crown of native greenery.
This was followed by draping a rich burgundy velvet garland that is layered with a burlap garland to cascade throughout the tree. A gold curly ribbon spray adds the gentle sparkle that we all love so much about Christmas trees.
We incorporated some rustic bells and polyresin ornaments as well as some sweet fabric Australian tree decorations, including a koala, kangaroo, wombat and echidna and a pair of girl and boy gumnut elves.

Red and gold baubles, poinsettias, and finials have been added to the Christmas tree to cater to traditional Christmas lovers. But the fun really began when we started to add a variety of eucalyptus leaves, gumnuts, and Australian native flowers. This is when it became a tree that was uniquely Australian!
To finish off our beautiful Australian Bush Christmas tree we added our burlap and red tree skirt, with personalised burlap Santa sacks and presents decorated with festive ribbons and native florals at the base of the tree.

A Natural Display
Our simple Bush Christmas mantle is decorated with a eucalyptus garland, which is new to our range this year, to which we added some pops of wattle and Christmas Bush. To compliment this garland, we have included a stunning Eucalyptus wreath and spray to the range. Hang a personalised plaque inside your wreath, or add some flair to your wreath by embellishing with extra picks and clips. For those looking for something a little more rustic, we have an alternative Rustic Pine and Cone Wreath which can also looks great with a personalised plaque affixed in the centre.
As always, we have created a stunning poster for this theme. This gorgeous artwork, features a traditional festive message surrounded by beautiful Australian florals. A simple yet striking addition to your Australian bush-inspired home, this poster looks fantastic mounted on a board made from old wood palings and secured with thumb tacks.
But the beautiful array of Australian natives doesn’t end there. This rustic-inspired table includes a moss green burlap table runner topped with our copper seed lights to add a magical touch. Each place setting includes our red 10cm personalised glass baubles, with the names of our guests in glitter calligraphy – doubling as both a place card and keepsake gift. Festive berry bonbons contain a gold trim which perfectly accompany the gold cutlery and the native and wooden elements of the entire table. These bon bons are complete with red berries and green fir to fit the theme and add another element of depth to the table.
