Christmas time is full of fun and activities. One of our favourites to do with your children (or let them do it on their own!) is making your own wrapping paper. It not only occupies the kids and is a fun activity, but it saves you money!
Buy rolls of brown paper and Christmas themed hand stamps. These could be pictures of Christmas trees, angels, presents or even wording such as ‘Merry Christmas’, or ‘Ho Ho Ho’.
Get some coloured ink pads, either in reds and greens or whichever colours will match your Christmas colour theme and stamp away! You could use a combination of all of the stamps, or just a single design on each new section of paper.
You can even make your own gift tags to match. Cut out pieces of cardboard in squares, rectangles, or if you are feeling especially creating cut them out in Christmas shapes. You can then use the same stamps that you used on the wrapping paper to decorate. Punch a hole in the tag and tie to the presents with ribbon or twine.
