Go Green this Christmas

Teach your kids how to be sustainable this Christmas with green ways to wrap presents. This Christmas DIY project is fun and best of all, it will help you stay within your Christmas budget!

Items you will need:
– roll of brown wrapping paper
– Colored markers and textas
– Acrylic paint
– Festive ribbons
– Sticky tape or fabric glue
– Sharp scissors (with adult supervision!)

Cut a decent length large enough to wrap a medium sized present. Flatten the brown paper on a flat surface. Set the kids to decorate the plain paper by drawing on festive objects such as holly, snowflakes, Santa, Christmas elves, Christmas trees and wreaths. Younger children can draw simple patterns in Christmas colours or fun paint handprints.

Other environmental friendly options include handmade Christmas gift tags recycling last year’s Christmas cards and wrapping paper off cuts.
