Christmas in July Party Decorating

CHristmas in July PartyIf you love Christmas, Christmas in July is a great opportunity to have a true white Christmas in Australia. Celebrate a traditional Christmas in the coolness of winter by having a Christmas in July lunch, formal dinner, dress up party or Christmas themed trivia night. The Christmas Cart recently celebrated Christmas in July with our annual gathering. Here’s how we decorated our marquee and enjoyed a cosy Christmas feast.

Tea Lights
A magical way to use mason jars at Christmas is by making tea lights. Simply place small tea light candles into mason jars and decorate with coloured ribbon. Add them to your table setting or use them to light up the entrance to your Christmas in July party. Brush the insides of the jars with glitter for an extra bit of sparkle.

Fairy Lights and Christmas Garlands
A combination of fairy lights and Christmas garlands are an easy and effective way to create a festive feel at your Christmas in July celebrations. At our Christmas in July party we decorated by draping them around the edges of our marquee to create a truly magical Christmas occasion.

Hanging centrepieces
We used paper Christmas honeycomb lanterns to add the final touch to our Christmas in July marquee decorations. Check out how to make your own honeycomb balls in our Christmas in July craft story.

Christmas Trees
Table Top Christmas Trees are perfect for an intimate Christmas in July dinner or table decorations at a party. They will immediately give your party space a Christmas feel without having to pull out and decorate a large Christmas tree. Use them for quick and easy Christmas table centrepieces.
