What You’ll Need
• Glass platter – we like rectangles, but circles and squares look great too!
• Green foliage – bring the outdoor in by grabbing some greenery from your garden, collecting some extra bits off your Christmas tree, or picking up some extras from your local florist
• Mercurial balls
• Three pillar candles, varying heights
Method
1. Lay the green foliage in a symmetrical pattern on your glass platter
2. Place your pillar candles on the glass platter, with the tallest in the middle
3. Around the candles, place the red and silver mercurial balls. And there you have it, a simple and traditional centrepiece that also provides beautiful soft lighting!
Tip: get as creative as you like here with what you have lying around – a few sprigs of berries, or some copper seed lights intertwined between the candles look gorgeous!
