Inspired by the simple but effective Scandinavian style, this guide shows you how to make a peg garland in the Nordic Christmas theme – but is so quick and easy that you can alter the style year to year at very little cost!
What You’ll Need
• Twine – long enough that it will comfortably drape across your mantle
• 2 removable hooks
• 8 wooden pegs – more or less depending on how wide you want your garland to be
• 4×2 Nordic style cushioned ornaments, in two styles
Method
1. Place the hooks on your wall in your designated area, at the width you wish your garland to be. Be careful to make sure they are place at equal heights.
2. Tie the twine to each of these hooks
3. Using the pegs, attach your ornaments in an alternating pattern along the garland at 10cm intervals
4. Stand back and admire your beautiful new garland, that took you less than five minutes to make!
