A Merry and Bright Christmas theme is full of bright colours and fun decorations. Honeycomb balls may not be traditionally associated with Christmas but the colours will add a festive touch. Making your own colourful honeycomb flowers is an inexpensive way to brighten up your room and add a vibrant finish to your Christmas décor. Here’s how to make merry and bright honeycomb flower arrangements.
What You’ll Need:
- Honeycomb flowers
- Craft timber sticks (from your local craft or hardware store)
- String
- Colourful patterned pipe cleaner or coloured wire
- Sticky tape
- Scissors
Method:
- Choose your favourite Christmas colours in Honeycomb flowers. We have used red, green and blue to match our Merry and Bright theme. They come in many different sizes; we are using the smallest size – 15cm in diameter. You can even choose to use a variety of sizes to create a unique flower arrangement.
- Open up each honeycomb flower and hold on top of the craft timber sticks. Then tie the cardboard together with string and secure with tape.
- Wrap some colourful Christmas coloured wire or pipe cleaner around the tape and string to cover the base.
- Arrange your Honeycomb flowers in coloured buckets to add a fun feel to Christmas.
