Christmas is a day to go all out, from the moment you wake up and start opening presents! Set aside the cereal and toast for the morning and get creative with your breakfast options. Strawberry Santa’s tick all the boxes – fun, delicious and a good serve of fruit with a little bit of cheeky chocolate!
Strawberry Santas – You’ll need:
- 1 punnet strawberries
- 2 bananas, sliced
- Softened cream cheese
- A handful of chocolate sprinkles
Using a small knife, slice the leafy end off each strawberry so they stand up evenly. Then slice the tip off to make a little hat. Slide the larger piece of strawberry onto a toothpick, followed by a piece of banana, and finished off with the strawberry “hat”. Using a spare toothpick, place two very small splotches of cream cheese down the front of the strawberry for buttons, and on the front of the banana. Place two chocolate sprinkles over the cream cheese on the “face” for eyes and serve!
