Making Christmas Personal

A personal Christmas
We can’t believe it’s only 99 sleeps until Christmas-but we have to admit we are pretty excited! At The Christmas Cart, we believe Christmas is a time to celebrate, decorate and feast. A time for you to enjoy your much loved traditions of Christmas and maybe create some new ones. Most importantly –Christmas should be personal, meaningful and special to you.

Spread the Christmas Spirit
A good way to start getting into the Christmas spirit is by spreading some positive energy. We have been really touched throughout the year watching our friend’s posts on Facebook when they have been nominated to participate in a Thankfulness or Gratitude Challenge. It’s been humbling and uplifting. We all have plenty in our lives that we could complain about, but all that does is spread negativity. So start the Christmas season with some positive Christmas energy. Don’t say “bah humbug” – show and share your some positive energy and think about how you can make you can leverage the Christmas spirit to spread some positive energy.

Personalise your Christmas by getting creative
For some, Christmas is a time for arts and crafts. Perhaps you like to create your own handmade Christmas cards and gifts to spread the Christmas spirit? Our glass craft baubles are just one way you can get creative. Be sure to find some inspiration from our Pinterest page filled with cooking, craft, table settings, tree decorations, table setting, gift-wrapping and ideas for making Christmas personal.

Plan your Christmas Countdown
Christmas time is always a busy and exciting season so we suggest you do a little pre-planning and create a personalised Christmas plan to help you get organised as the day gets closer. You may not need to start doing anything just yet, but a little planning ahead may save you stress and money.

Christmas in your community
Now is also a good time to start thinking about how you are going to embrace the special activities that really make this time of year special for your neighbourhood. Perhaps you plan to find the best streets for Christmas lights in your area, attend your local Christmas carols, shop at the Christmas markets? Maybe you are thinking of having your neighbours in for some fun festive socialising – what about Christmas bakefest so you can invite your friends over for a Christmas themed High Tea or movie night with all your favourite Christmas movies.
