How to create santas little helper theme- Funny Christmas Stories and Jokes

There is nothing that compares to the excitement and anticipation of kids at Christmas time. Of course, the magic of Christmas is felt and treasured at any and every age, but for the kids it’s something extra special.

We were all kids once, and likely have many fond memories of visiting Santa, helping to set up the family Christmas tree, and who could forget Christmas morning! Perhaps there is a part of us that never really grows up, especially when it come to celebrating Christmas, and so for all the kids of now, and the kids of the past, we have created the Santa’s Little Helper theme.

Our Santa’s Little Helper theme is everything that kids love about Christmas. It’s cheeky elves, reindeers and snowmen, Santa and sleighs, bright colours and glitter.

Be inspired with our Santa’s Little Helpers Lookbook.

And be sure to read on for everything you need to create this fun and festive Christmas decorating style.

Elves, Elves and more Elves

It is well known that the elves are Santa’s mischievous assistants. It’s their job to make the toys, pack the sleigh and keep a close watch on all the little boys and girls to report back to Santa for his very important naughty and nice lists. But sometimes they like to be a bit cheeky too! Our range of elf inspired decor offers so many options for having Santa’s right hand guys and girls make themselves quite at home at your place this year. Elf Butts and Legs, Elf Tree Skirts

Be on the look out. You might find them getting up to mischief in, around and even under your Christmas tree! Or maybe hanging out on the staircase (or shelves, or mantle, or wherever you are decorating really) with some of their friends from the North Pole!

Or even at your front door with this awesome DIY Elf Wreath Craft Idea! Watch our video and create this gorgeous wreath yourself in just a few easy steps.

It’s important to note that not all the elves are cheeky. Others can be found hard at work getting things ready for Christmas Day.

Or quietly standing back and casting a watchful eye over the house and it’s family, under Santa’s strict instructions.Wherever your elves might be and whatever they are doing, you can be sure they will be spreading plenty of Christmas cheer so be sure to squeeze in as many as you can handle! They are the original “Santa’s Little Helpers”.

Dial Up the Fun

The elves aren’t the only ones that get to have all the fun. An important part of this theme is that is has to have sacks full of fun. Anything that is colourful, musical and festive is in. Think singing and dancing musical toys.

…Christmas snowglobes.

…colourful nutcrackers…

…cute and cuddly Christmas friends…

…and fun countdown signs and calendars.

Bright Colours and Glitter, Everywhere!

The vibrancy and textures created by shades of bright red and green, and plenty of glitter, only adds to the excitement of the Santa’s Little Helper theme.

Combine the reds and greens in varying combinations throughout your décor. From gift wrapping…to tree decorations…and garlands…

…the more colour you can cram in, the more excitement you create, and that can only be a good thing, right?

Make It Personal

Acknowledge each child or person in your home and make them feel extra special by including plenty of personalised items in your décor. If they aren’t already grinning from ear to ear, seeing their own name on gorgeous decorations is sure to make their eyes sparkle.

Personalised baubles are a popular choice. These Personalised Stockings and Sacks not only add plenty of colour and texture but there’s no certainly no confusing who the rightful owners are.

Create magical Christmas memories and traditions with a Christmas Eve box.

Don’t Forget the Man Himself

It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t consider the man of the moment in all of this. Santa’s got a big job to do on Christmas Eve so we think we should do our bit to make it that little bit easier.

Let Santa know that you’d like him to stop by, and give him somewhere comfy for a quick rest before he is on his way again with this cute cushion.

In a country where most houses don’t have a chimney, give Santa a helping hand to get inside and deliver his precious packages with this magical key sign.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many great ideas that you can incorporate into the Santa’s Little Helper theme. Check out this video to find out more about creating a Santa’s Little Helpers Christmas in your home.
