Christmas Cushions

So simple and so effective. Christmas cushions make a great Christmas décor option. There are so many deigns and styles to choose from that there is something suit every type of workplace – from fun and playful to elegant and sophisticated.

If you have a waiting room area at work, add some cushions to the seats. Or, create a space in the corner for younger visitors to make use of. You could add a beanbag, Christmas cushions and story books for the kids to enjoy while they wait with Mum and Dad.

Christmas Mantle

Empty boxes make the perfect canvas for plenty of Christmas décor ideas. And, we have found the perfect Christmas décor statement piece made from a bunch of these – a mantle complete with fireplace!

Most workplaces would have no problem gathering some empty cardboard boxes and this is a great way to make use of them. It could be the empty boxes that your reams of paper come in, or nappy boxes if you have workmates with young kids, or any other kind of boxes that your various supplies likely come in. Using these you can create your very own mantle. The workplace reception area is perfect for this if you have the room, or maybe you’ve got a communal staff area or other space that could do with a Christmas makeover. Just get someone who’s a little bit savvy with computer graphics to print a brickwork pattern on A3 sheets of paper and use those to cover the boxes. Build them together like the image below to construct your Christmas décor mantle.

Complete the look with by hanging some Christmas stockings from the mantle and adding plenty of other Christmas décor pieces such as ornaments and decorations across the top. You could even include personalised stockings with your company or employee names for an extra special touch.

Who would have thought a bunch of empty boxes could make one super impressive Christmas décor feature piece! It’s sure to get your employees and customers talking and enjoying the spirit of Christmas.

Who Wants to Build a Snowman?

Embrace your inner child with a Christmas snowman. And this is another Christmas décor idea constructed from a bunch of old boxes. For this you will need a few different-sized boxes.

Once the boxes have been covered in plain white paper construct the snowman with the larger box at the bottom. Place the next size box on top, then another smaller box third to create the snowman’s body. Construct a hat like the image below and place it on top. Use different coloured textas, paper, stickers or other crafty items (the trusty black Sharpie pen would be perfect) for the face and buttons to complete your very own Christmas workplace snowman.
